A LOVE OF LEARNING

EXCELLENT RESULTS

Albert Einstein once said that logic will take you from A to B, but imagination will take you everywhere. Children are naturally original and creative, which is why we encourage pupils to be curious, explore their own interests and think for themselves. Innovative teaching methods, tailored by our talented team to small student groups, allow our pupils to progress with excellent results to top schools anywhere in the world.

A BILINGUAL PROGRAM

We offer world-class nursery and primary education from ages 1-8. Children join a bilingual program in Swedish and French or English and French, following a rigorous Swedish curriculum with the highest academic standards. We also offer Swedish language courses. Learning is active and entrepreneurial, with a balanced mix of classroom and outdoor time.

INSPIRING VALUES

With around 70 pupils and 25 teaching staff, the Swedish International School of Geneva is small enough to feel like a home away from home, where everyone knows each other and children can be themselves. Above all else, our focus is on growing a child’s self-esteem – valuing and respecting them for who they are. When pupils have a sense of security and community at school, it helps them develop a lifelong desire to learn.

OUR OVERARCHING AIMS

•    Values: To influence and stimulate pupils into embracing the common values of our society and expressing them in practical daily action.
•    Knowledge: To ensure pupils acquire and develop the knowledge necessary to be a responsible and competent citizen.
•    Responsibility: To encourage pupils to influence, take responsibility for and be involved in their education.
