The Swedish International School of Geneva (SISOG) is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our team for the next school year 2024-2025 (start date August 15, 2024). SISOG offers bilingual programs for Preschool children from 1 to 4 years old and Primary children from 4 to 12 years old. We are located in Meyrin within an eco-district, enabling us to explore our environment and enjoy the outdoors every day.

As an English Teacher at SISOG, you will have the opportunity to work in an intentionally small school that prioritizes a dynamic curriculum designed to inspire both teachers and students. Our curriculum encourages collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking, providing teachers with the freedom to tailor their lessons to the individual needs and interests of their students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across the curriculum to primary students.

  • Collaborate with Preschool’s colleagues and other Primary teams to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

  • Use innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance student learning and engagement.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and supported in their learning journey.

  • Participate in school-wide events and initiatives to contribute to the vibrant SISOG community.

Qualifications:

  • Native English speaker.

  • Primary Teaching Diploma/Degree

  • Experience teaching in English to primary-aged students.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

  • Interest in teaching according to the Swedish Curriculum,
