Preschool Teacher (Short-Term Replacement)

The Swedish International School of Geneva, located in Meyrin, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team for a short-term appointment. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and stimulating bilingual French-English environment.

  • Care & Well-being: Ensure a warm and secure welcome for children, looking after their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

  • Pedagogical Projects: Participate in the development and implementation of educational projects adapted to the specific age groups.

  • Global Development: Foster cognitive, motor, emotional, and social growth through play-based and educational activities.

  • Communication: Maintain regular and professional communication with parents regarding their child's development.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the teaching and administrative staff, participating in team meetings and contributing to overall school projects.

  • Observation: Monitor development to assess progress and adjust pedagogical approaches as necessary.

Your Profile

  • Languages: Fluent in English or French with the ability to communicate effectively in the other language.

  • Attributes: Passionate about child development, creative, and adaptable to a multicultural setting.

Contract Details

  • Duration: Short-term position for April, May, and June.

  • Activity Rate: 85%.

  • Schedule: Working days are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
