Celebrating Outstanding Academic Success: Our 2025 Evaluations Communes (ECR)
At Swedish International School of Geneva, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our primary students in the 2025 Evaluations Communes. Our students have delivered outstanding performances, outperforming both the Geneva Canton public school average and the private school average across all overall assessments.
These brilliant results are a wonderful reflection of our nurturing bilingual environment, which supports both English-French and Swedish-French development, and our commitment to academic excellence.
Exceptional Highlights
Our students demonstrated remarkable understanding and mastery in both core subjects:
French Language Overall Our school average exceeded both the Canton public school average and the general private school benchmark, highlighting our strong foundations in literacy and comprehension.
Mathematics Overall Our students secured outstanding results, positioning our school ahead of both the Canton public school average and the private school average.
Guided by the Swedish Curriculum
Our educational approach goes beyond memorisation. This success is deeply rooted in the Swedish Curriculum, which encourages children to take initiative, explore new ideas, and solve problems with confidence.
By working collaboratively, our dedicated staff and students create a supportive environment where everyone can reach their full potential. We focus on developing strong communication skills and a lifelong desire to learn, ensuring our students are well-prepared for any future challenge.
Why We Choose to Participate
Evaluations Communes are standardised canton-wide assessments used in Geneva to monitor student progress. While Swedish International School of Geneva is an international school and is not required to take part, we choose to do so every year.
We participate to ensure our academic standards remain exceptionally high. By meeting and exceeding these local benchmarks, we guarantee that our students have every educational path open to them in the future, whether they choose to transition into the local public school system or continue in other private institutions.
Congratulations to our wonderful primary students and our hard-working educators for these magnificent achievements!
