Svea is a mixed-age group for children aged 1 to 4, blending Swedish and French cultural influences. To offer a wide range of experiences and maximize each child’s development, children spend part of the day either in small age-based groups or all together.
In Svea, we celebrate Swedish culture through song, storytelling, and traditional festivities. Outdoor time is a big part of our daily routine, often paired with healthy snacks to keep the children energized.
Our goal is to help each child explore the world while fostering self-confidence and independence. We establish structured routines that encourage growth at a comfortable pace for each individual child. We provide support for cognitive, motor, and social development, always respecting each child’s unique age and abilities.
In our mixed-age environment, children gain valuable social experiences that teach foundational values like sharing, self-respect, and respect for others. These values align with our school’s core principles: Empathy, Community, Commitment, Love of Learning, and Equality.
